Leyton Orient confirmed on Monday that Macauley Bonne has received a call-up for Warriors’ assignments to be played during the March international break.
The 22-year-old made his national team debut in November last year against Lesotho in a friendly match. He earned another cap a few days later when Zimbabwe played Namibia in the second friendly of the November break.
Bonne who has scored 18 goals in all competitions for the O’s this season, could make his third appearance when the Warriors take part in a Four Nations’ Tournament which will see them face off with Angola, South Africa and hosts Zambia.
Meanwhile, other foreign-based players confirmed to be in the squad are Costa Nhamoinesu of Sparta Prague and Ajax Cape Town’s Gerald Takwara.
