Ngezi Platinum Stars have unveiled nine new players to the already 20 players that will do business for the team during the 2018 Premier Soccer League.
The nine players – two goalkeepers Bernard Donovan and Tatenda Muditi, Tichaona Chipunza, Frank Mukarati, Marlon Mushonga, Master Chawadza, Kelvin Sande were paraded at the unveiling ceremony in Ngezi while Ghanaian Steven Owusu was absent as he had gone to attend to a family commitment.
The club president Segula welcomed the new players and called them to maintain the Ngezi brand.
“I welcome you to Madamburo, and I call you to maintain the existing Ngezi brand that has become another household name in Zimbabwean football,” said Segula
Coach Tonderayi Ndiraya said this year they were aiming to be the best and that they have assembled a stronger side than the last year one.
“Our aim this year is to be the best, and since we have assembled a stronger team from the one we had last season, we expect to have results we all desire come the end of the season which is landing the championship,” said Ndiraya.
