Only seven stadiums have been approved to host Premier Soccer League matches in 2018 season.
The First Instance Body (FBI) which is responsible for stadium inspection, met in Harare on Monday and approved the following stadiums:
National Sports Stadium
Rufaro Stadium;
Barbourfields Stadium;
Luveve Stadium;
Gibbo Stadium;
Baobab Stadium
Mandava Stadium
For Maglas, Sakubva, Ascot and Nyamhunga, FIB recommended extensive refurbishments in order to satisfy minimum standards on the club licensing check list if they are to be certified to host top flight league matches.
There are 18 teams in this campaign, with newcomers Nichrut FC expected to find an alternative home after their Peak Mine Stadium was condemned. Also, Bulawayo Chiefs’ Rose Camp Stadium was approved unfit to host the matches.
