Michy Batshuayi has taken a swipe at Antonio Conte over his a lack of game time at Chelsea.
Batshuayi struggled following his move to the London-based side for £33m in July 2016, but has now netted five goals in three games since joining the Bundesliga giants on loan in January.
After scoring twice in the Germans’ 3-2 Europa League win over Atalanta, he said: “I don’t know if Conte was watching my game.
“Sitting on the bench, score a goal and then back to the bench is quite difficult to deal with for an attacker. It wasn’t always easy at Chelsea. I’m now playing with a lot of confidence.
Meanwhile, Batshuayi’s loan deal does not include the option for a permanent move to be made at the end of the season. This means he could still have a future at Chelsea, although he is giving little thought to that scenario at present.
