Swedish giants, Djurgårdens IF, have dismissed rumours suggesting that they want to sign Mamelodi Sundowns’ Khama Billiat.
There have been reports saying Billiat, who will see his Masandawana contract expire at the end of the season, had agreed to join the Allsvenskan outfit.
According to Soccer Laduma, a South African football website, club Director of Sports Bo Andersson admitted they were aware of Billiat’s ability, but explained that it would be ‘very difficult’ to try and get him on board.
“We know of Khama, we know that he is a good player, but it would be very difficult to bring him here. As far as I’m concerned they are just rumours.”
Meanwhile, Djugardens are also reportedly targeting Chinese-based Zimbabwean striker Nyasha Mushekwi for another spell at the club.
