Ovidy Kararu scored the winning goal for AmaZulu in a 1-0 win over SuperSport United on Wednesday night.

The midfielder was in the first XI and netted his second league goal of the season when he struck from near the inside edge of the box in the 53rd  minute. Team-mate Butholezwe Ncube was not in the squad.

Meanwhile, Evans Rusike made his SuperSport debut when he featured in the encounter.

The 27-year old striker completed his move from Maritzburg United yesterday and played the whole ninety minutes. He could have scored early in the first half, but his weak effort was saved by the goalkeeper.

In Cape Town, Tendai Ndoro created the first goal for Ajax Cape Town in a 3-0 victory against his former team Orlando Pirates.

Ndoro was cleared to play in the match after the Dispute Resolution Chamber ruled that he was eligible to feature for Ajax.
