FC Platinum will host Mozambican giants Ferroviario da Beira this afternoon in an international friendly match to be played at Mandava Stadium.

The Zimbabwe champions are using the encounter as part of preparations for their CAF Champions League campaign which begins in February.  They returned to Zvishavane after spending two weeks camping in Bulawayo.

Pure Platinum Play has assembled a squad which consist of experienced players and young talent.

Zambian striker Shadreck Mayembe and Cameroonian teenager Albert Eonde are some of the new players expected to make their FC Platinum debut this afternoon.

On the other hand, Ferroviario da Beira arrived in the country last week with a strong team. They have Zambian midfielder Thomas Nyirenda and Fabrice Kanda of DRC. Former Dynamos goalkeeper Willard Manyatera is also part of the Mozambican side.

The match will start at 3 pm.
