Former Ajax Cape Town defender Eric Chipeta has joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Raed FC.

Al Raed plays in the Saudi Professional League and is currently on the bottom of the table.

The club announced on their Twitter account the arrival of the Zimbabwe international.

The statement read: The management of Al-Raed has contracted Zimbabwe international defender Eric Chipeta.

Chipeta left Ajax in August 2017 after the two parties reached an agreement to terminate his contract.
