Warriors and Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar is willing to help facilitate a tour to this country by his former Anfield teammates.
Grobbelaar who played for the Reds from 1981 to 1994, is back in the country after 11 years in exile.
In an interview with The Herald, the former goalkeeper said he is ready to use his contacts to help bring the Liverpool legends to the country.
“If Zimbabwe makes the request, I will put it through to the club’s former players and they will make a determination. It’s a process which has to go through the club’s negotiating team and the former players themselves,” said Grobbelaar.
In November last year, the Warriors Legends played against Barcelona Legends at National Sports Stadium in an exhibition match organised by ZIFA and the Ministry of Sport, Arts and Recreation. The game was used to market brand Zimbabwe and increase the volume of sports tourism.
