Shabanie Mine have confirmed the departure of defender William “Munhumutema” Mapfumo.

Mapfumo joins Division One side Manica Diamond FC as a free agent after his one year contract with the Chinda Boys expired at the end of last year.

Shabanie announced the development on their Facebook page.

The statement reads:

Veteran defender William Badra “Munhumutema” Mapfumo who played for us last year is now a Manica Diamonds player after successfully undergoing trials and medicals at the eastern region division one team based in Mutare. Mapfumo signed a one year contract with Shabanie that expired on December 31, 2017.
