Ngezi Platinum captain Patson Jaure is set to join cash-rich Zambian side Buildcon.
Ngezi secretary Cleote Munjoma says negotiations between the two club are going on well but could not give further details.
“Yes the club has been in touch with us, and we are talking. We will give more details soon,” said Munjoma.
Buildcon which is coached by Morocco-born Hicham Jadrane, has been splashing money, luring some of the best players across Africa. The club has also signed fringe Warriors midfielder Nqobizitha Masuku from FC Platinum.
They also tried to prise away former Shabanie Mine hitman Nelson Maziwisa from Kabwe Warriors, but his side refused.
Meanwhile, the Zambian league has been growing in recent years due to some investments into the game in that country. Now Zimbabwean players are reversing the previous trend where players from Zambia used to flock to the local league. Former Caps United winger Tafadzwa Rusike is now at champions Zanaco where he joined ex- Tsholotsho utility player Zimiseleni Moyo.
