Dynamos midfielder Tichaona Chipunza is close to complete a move to Ngezi Platinum.
The underrated but compact midfielder’s contract with Dynamos expired at the end of 2017, and Ngezi Platinum have tabled a better deal to prise him away from the Glamour Boys.
A source at Ngezi Platinum said a deal is imminent as the player and the club have agreed on a number issues.
“The deal is almost done, there are only a few loose ends that they are tying, but it’s just as good as done,” the source said.
“Tonderai Ndiraya (Ngezi coach) is pushing hard for the player to sign because Dynamos are also trying hard not to lose one of their star performers last season. They are using the reports that they will be getting a cash injection from Netone to try persuade the player to stay, but Ngezi Platinum have already made a move.”
Vice-captain Obey Mwerahari and right back Peace Makaha are also out of contract. Exciting winger Cleopas Kapupurika is reportedly on his way out to Yadah Stars.
Harare City striker William Manondo and ZPC Kariba midfielder Raphael Manuvire are some of the players linked with moves to Dynamos.
