Madinda Ndlovu has emerged the favourite to take over the coaching duties at Highlanders following Erol Akbay’s departure.
The Bulawayo Giants resolved to appoint a former Highlanders player who can lead the team to their first league title in over a decade. According to reports, Ndlovu, who was relieved of his coaching duties at Orapa United last month, has been identified by the club executive as the best person take over the post.
If Madinda gets the job, it will not be his first time to coach Bosso. He had a short stint in 2009 before the club decided to terminate his contract.
Meanwhile, other coaches who are linked to the job are Rahman Gumbo, Amini Soma-Phiri and national Under-20 coach Bekithemba Ndlovu.
