CAPS United forward John Zhuwawo is reportedly in South Africa for assessment at ABSA Premiership side Ajax Cape Town.
Zhuwawo left the country yesterday afternoon for a three-day assessment by the Cape Town based side.
According to Newsday, the player will be assessed by the technical team from today till Thursday. He is expected to come back home on Friday.
Meanwhile, Zhuwawo is excited with the opportunity.
“It feels great to be afforded that kind of opportunity. It is the dream of every player, it lifts you up and I am very excited about it. I am going to try and make the most of it,” he said.
The Green Machine hit-man joins Ngezi Platinum player Tichaona Mabvura on the list of local players who were assessed by Ajax Cape Town this season. Other players in the Castle Lager Premiership like Ocean Mushure and Cameroonian striker Christian Ntouba are also reported to be on Ajax radar.
