Stix disappointed after draw

Black Rhinos coach Stanford ‘Stix ‘ Mutizwa was left fuming after his charges allowed Shabanie Mine to comeback into the match and get a share of the spoils in the 1-1 draw at Morris Depot.

Farai Banda used his strength in the air, heading in a corner kick from Jameson Mukombwe after 20 minutes but Shabanie Mine leveled matters four minutes from halftime through Tinashe Mupumha.

The second half was to be a tale of missed chances from both clubs but Mutizwa was unamused at the end.

“I am very disappointed by the way we played. We created chances and got the lead but we conceded a soft goal. In our last game we played well even though we lost to Highlanders,” said Mutizwa.

“We allowed Shabanie to come back in the game because of a lapse in concentration. It’s so disappointing when you concede such a soft goal.”

Black Rhinos had a trailblazing start to the season but fizzled out on the mid way. Chauya Chipembere stagnated in the 30 point bracket for the better part the season. They are now on 39 points.
