Lloyd Mutasa says Dynamos have always performed better when cornered, hitting back at critics who are questioning the club’s pedigree to win the title.
The Dynamos coach says the club’s success even in the recent past have been claimed when the team had the odds against them.
“ We are Dynamos and we never give up. We have the belief and the faith which carries us forward. We have a fighting spirit.I was telling the youngsters that we have been in similar situations before but we managed to accomplish. When I was still a player, we faced Black Rhinos who were also gunning for the title and wanted an outright win,” said Mutasa.
“ Rhinos scored early and we now needed to win the game and also had a two goal overhaul which we did. Even if you look at our recent success under previous coach Kalisto Pasuwa, we won even when some would have written Dynamos out. So this is the message we are passing on to the youngsters,”. added Mutasa.
Dynamos dropped to third position behind Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum respectively after losing 2-0 to Ngezi Platinum last Saturday. The Glamour Boys hosts Chapungu at the National Sports stadium on Sunday.
