Mamelodi Sundowns striker Cuthbert Malajila underwent a surgery last week after a knee injury during a match against Kaizer Chiefs two weeks ago.

According to Sundowns’ website, Malajila is now  five days post operation. The 32 year old was injured after colliding with goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune towards full time after coming in as a substitute few moments earlier. This was his second appearance for Sundowns this season.

Meanwhile it is still unknown when he will get back but he is likely to spend some time on the sidelines.
