Shabanie Mine Technical Manager Taku Shariwa says playing against How Mine in the Chibuku Super Cup semi final will be a tough assignment.
The Zvishavane side were paired against Chikurupati in the draw conducted on Tuesday while Harare City play against Bulawayo City in the other clash.
Shariwa admitted that the tie is going to be a difficult one but he is confident his team will progress to the final round.
“Its going to be a tough game, in terms of tactics How Mine are one of the best. But if you look in our reverse fixture at Maglas Stadium we beat them although they were the better side. We look forward to meeting them, they play exciting football and they have a brilliant coach”, he said.
“For us reaching the semis is a great achievement, look at the teams we went past, ZPC Kariba and Caps. Now we face How Mine we couldn’t ask for more. This is what happens in a cup situation for you to be among the best you must beat the best, we are prepared to fight it out”, added Shariwa.
However, Shariwa is puzzled by How Mine’s lack of stamina to compete for the championship considering the depth in the team.
Their semi final match against How Mine will be played at Barbourfields Stadium on Sunday. Shabanie had to wait untill Thursday evening to confirm their semi final spot after PSL took long to come up with decision in the abandoned game against CAPS United
