Black Rhinos will be aiming at getting their first home win in the second half of the season when they host How Mine today.
Rhinos registered their first win in the second half the season in the league beating Hwange 2-0 away at the Colliery.
However the renaissance had started when they dispatched Triangle from the Chibuku Super Cup last weekend and today they are praying for a continuation of the good fortunes.
Coach Stanford ‘Stix’ Mutizwa said his side should work on consistency and finish among the best six teams at the end of the season.
” Its good to be winning again and I am particularly happy that our strikers are now getting goals. I am also happy for Lot Chiwunga he continues to score and he is now among the leading scorers in the league.,” said Mutizwa.
” We are now aiming at finishing among the top six clubs and this has to start by winning against How Mine. We went through a bad patch which is normal for any team. Some get it at the start of the season, others in the middle or at the end but ours was a difficult one because we had it in the middle after having had a good start,”.
Black Rhinos were some of the early pacesetters in the first half of the season but lost steam during the mid season, going for seven games without a point.
