Herentals FC has become the first team to get promoted in to the Premier Soccer League after crowned Northern Region Division One champions with 7 games to spare.

They won the championship after Blue Swallows were crashed 3-1 by Cranbourne Bullets.

The college side accumulated a total of 64 points, 22 points on top of second placed Swallows. Last season Herentals finished 2nd with 64 points, 5 less than Rhinos.

In other regions, Mutare City Rovers are on top of the Eastern region table while Tongogara are three points clear on top in Central region league
