Yadah booked their place in the first round of the Chibuku Super Cup after a convincing but slander 1-0 over Hwange at Mandava Stadium.
A second half goal from Moses Demera was enough to give the Harare side their first win over Chipangano in all competitions.
Hwange could have scored moments before half time when Dereck Murimba’s tramendous effort was superbly saved by goalkeeper Samuel Mafukidze.
With only six minutes played in the second half, Demera connected a cross from the left and struck home beautifully to sent Yadah in to the lead. Hwange tried to get back in to the game but the scoreline remained the same at the end of the game.
In the second match of the double header Bantu Rovers eased past Tsholotsho in a 3-1 victory.
A brace from Nigel Papiyasi and a strike from Nqobizitha Masuku was what Bantu needed to dump out Iziqholo Zezhwane.
Papiyasi sent Rovers in to the lead with only 17 minutes played. Masuku doubled the tally on the stroke of half time.
Tsholotsho pulled back one on the 69th minute mark when Marlon Mushonga found the back of the net. With their hopes of leveling things high, Papiyasi sealed the victory when he completed his brace the added time .
Bantu will now play against How Mine while Yadah will face Chicken Inn in the first round.
