Dynamos have finally decided against using Christian Ntouba in the Big Harare Derby against Caps United set for Rufaro Stadium tomorrow afternoon.
The striker is serving a two match ban after receiving a straight red card for head butting Peter Muduhwa in an off the ball incident during the Battle of Zimbabwe at Rufaro Stadium last Sunday.
Confusion came in during the week when ZIFA’s referee’s committee recinded the red card but the Premier Soceer League upheld the ban.
The club’s secretary general Webster Marechera confirmed the development to the Newsday.
“He is not playing on Sunday. Even the coaches are preparing without him,” said Marechera.
Ntouba is one of the three regular Dynamos players who will sit out of the match against Caps United. Defender Lincoln Zvasiya and midfielder Tichaona Chipunza, who has played in all the team’s league matches so far, are suspended for accumulating yellow cards.
