Nyasha Mushekwi has found the net for the umpteenth time in the Chinese League One season for Dalian Yifang.
The former Caps United player scored the only goal in the 1-0 win against NMG Zhongyou to remain on pole position on the log standings.
The right back raced down the right flank before putting in an excellent low cross to Mushekwi at the back post and the 29-year-old was able to steer the ball with his left foot past the goalkeeper.
Mushekwi moved his goal tally to 16 and sits as third best in the top scorers charts behind Harold Preciado (20) and Marcelo Moreno (17).
Last season Mushekwi ended as the second-highest scorer with 19 strikes as his team finished in fifth place.
The Zimbabwean star finished behind Brazilian hitman Luis Fabiano, who won the Golden Boot with 22 goals to help his club Tianjin Quanjin get crowned the Chinese League One champions.
With 5 games remaining Dalian Yifang lead standings with 55 points followed by Beijing Renhe on 53 while Shijiazhuang is a distsnt third on 46 points.
Two teams gain promotion to the Lucrative Chinese Super League.
