Caps United have put behind them the disappointment of losing the Harare derby to their biggest rivals Dynamos and now focusing Bulawayo City.
The defending champions saw their mini revival halted by a Christian Epoupa brace without a reply and would want to bounce back against an unpredictable Bulawayo City who have claimed the scalps of Highlanders and ZPC Kariba in recent matches.
” We hope we get our three points because it’s promising to be a tough game again. There are no longer easy games at all. We just need to work harder,” said Caps assistant coach Fungai Kwashi.
” Against Dynamos we just lost the battle not the war, it happens in football . All we can do is to quickly forget about this result and focus on the next game. As much as it hurts, we just need to continue running our own race,”.
The Caps United assistant also said that the absence of in form striker Dominic Chungwa partly contributed to their defeat.
” He is our top scorer imagine Real Madrid without Cristiano Ronaldo or Manchester without Romelu Lukaku. But not let us give an excuse that we lost because Chungwa was not there. If we have won the game without him, we wouldn’t be talking about him,”.
Chungwa and Justice Jangano who were vital cogs in the six match unbeaten run, missed the derby through suspensions.
