Dynamos coach, Lloyd Mutasa, has expressed pleasure at their 1-0 premier league win over Black Rhinos away at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
A solitary goal by fullback and captain, Ocean Mushure, was enough to inflict a reverse fixture revenge by the ‘Glamour Boys’ after having lost by the same margin at home in the first fixture.
Speaking after the win, Mutasa admitted that the match was not easy for Dynamos against the resilient premier league new comers who have managed nine wins, four draws and six loses in 19 matches.
“I think we said it that every game that Dynamos plays is difficult. You know when you forge a result after a difficult time you are always happy as an institution.
“Yeah, you know as a coach you become worried you know at 1-0 you are not yet there until the death and we had to wait for the three points and we are saying well done to the youngsters, you showed character and beat the team that beat us before,” Mutasa told journalists.
Dynamos are now third on the premier league table with 36 points, four points behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars. They have registered 11 wins, three draws and four losses and have two games in hand including the abandoned Chapungu match. The bigger one is against their fierce derby rivals CAPS United.
“You know we cannot count the chickens before they hatch. It’s a game in hand and we are talking of a CAPS United side which is one of the powerhouses in the domestic league. We only cross the bridge when we get there.
