Highlanders head coach Erol Akbay believes his side are still in the league title race after securing a key 2-0 victory over Shabanie at Maglas Stadium on Sunday.
Highlanders suffered a shock defeat to Bulawayo City on Thursday but bounced back to winning ways on Sunday.
Bosso are adjusting to life without Prince Dube and Rodreck Mutuma that both left the club during the transfer window but Akbay believes his side just needs time.
Highlanders are in 7th place with 31 points , six behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum.
“We are very close to Ngezi Platinum and we still have a very big chance to win the league title,we still have 17 games to play,” said Akbay after the win .
“We lost a number of experienced players and the club does not have money to get the best players but I have hope in youngsters ,I feel they just need time to gain experience added Akbay.
