Warriors U-17 head coach Moses Chunga has defended his decision to include his son Madalitso Chunga in the national team squad for Cosafa Cup U-17 tournament set for Mauritius between the July 21- 30.
Chunga’s selection has raised concern from some fans but he was quick to play down the selection.
“He is just like any other player who has been called to into the team. “He is only 16 and needs two years to prove himself Chunga told the Herald.
“We train together at home and he is a bit shy added Chunga. Bambo said he wanted his son who is currently a Prince Edward pupil not to be compared to him to avoid putting any pressure.
Meanwhile the 25 squad is set to begin camp at the ZIFA village today. The squad will be reduced from 30 to 25 before leaving for Mauritius.
