Zimbabwean international defender, Teenage Hadebe, is now officially a Kaizer Chiefs player, according to his former club Chicken Inn.
Hadebe is set to depart for South Africa today to link up with the ABSA Premiership giants ahead of pre-season preparations.
“Hadebe is leaving for SA, he is no longer our player and has already signed for Kaizer Chiefs,” stated Chicken Inn chairman, Lifa Ncube.
Hadebe is understood to have signed a four year contract and will be unveiled by the club soon.
He has been linked with a move to Chiefs for months after impressing during a trial stint and is set to be one of the new faces at the club as they rebuild following a disappointing 2016 – 2017 campaign.
He becomes the third Chicken Inn player to join Kaizer Chiefs after Edmore Chirambadare and Michelle Katsvairo.
Chirambadare had a decent season and received the Most Improved Player award recently while Katsvairo is set to spend next season on loan at another club before his future is decided.
