Warriors COSAFA head coach Sunday Chidzambwa said he expected a better performance from his charges winning 4-0 against Mozambique on Monday night.
The Warriors Boys kicked off their 2017 COSAFA Cup Group B with a 4-0 victory over the Mambas of Mozambique.
A brace by Ovidy Karuru and a goal each from Ocean Mushure and debutant Majarira gave the Zimbabwe team the three points that take them to top in a group were only the table toppers proceed to the knockout stages.
Despite the big win, coach Sunday Chidzambwa felt that the team needed to improve on their scoring abilities.
“I would have wanted more goals. We must have scored more considering the chances we created throughout the game, especially in the opening minutes,” said Chidzambwa.
The Warriors will play their next match on Wednesday against Madagascar who themselves beat Seychelles 2-0.
