DYNAMOS captain, Ocean Mushure, has thrown his weight behind his coach, Loyd Mutasa, who has endured a turbulent start to the season but is now recovering after registering two victories in a row.
The Dynamos faithful off late have been venting their frustration on the head coach bursting into negative chants as they appeared to be losing patience with the rebuilding project.
Relieved by the win against ZPC Kariba, the 31-year-old fullback appealed for unity of purpose and patience from the Glamour Boys’ legion of fans to have faith in his mentor following the team’s disappointing start to the season.
Being one of the seasoned campaigners for DeMbare outfit who has lifted the league cup on four consecutive seasons (2011-2014), Mushure believes that the former Flame Lily mentor has the right temperamental mind and dedication to the job considering the loss of renowned players last year.
“It is a great honour to have a coach who once played for the club. He understands the situation better in regards to the club. I believe he has shown great commitment in uplifting the team’s morale, where most players are inspired and mentored.
“It is important to rally behind our coach.
“The rebuilding exercise requires support from both the fans and the management since the coach will be working tirelessly and under pressure to find the right combination that will yield the much needed results, “he told Soccer24.
Dynamos are starting to enjoy their game and rhythm through Cameroonian striker, Christain Joel Epoupa, and Denver Mukamba who was outstanding in team’s last match against ZPC Kariba.
The former premier league champions play relegation hounded Tsholotsho FC away at Dulivadzimu Stadium this afternoon. They are on position eight on the league table with 14 points from nine games with a game in hand.
