Zimbabwean international Marvelous Nakamba has urged his side not to be intimidated by Highlanders face when they take on Bosso at Barbourfields stadium this afternoon.
Nakamba, a Bantu Rovers product, enjoyed a fine season with Dutch side Vitesse and took the time to motivate the current crop of players of his former side ahead of the derby.
“I think its motivation if you can give your best against those teams that are supported by big crowds in the country he told the Bantu Rovers website.
“I think you can manage when you go somewhere because when you go where you dream of playing there is always 40 000 or 50 000 people watching you and you have to start there when you play against Highlanders and Dynamos and getting the experience of playing in those big crowd if you could manage it then you can succeed.
As a player like youngsters from Bantu Rovers have to use this opportunity if you can compete with the best then you can be the best. I think they have to believe in themselves and if they can believe in themselves employ teamwork, hard work and confidence nothing will stop them he added.
Highlanders are hoping to bounce back from a disappointing goalless draw against Harare City during the week.
