Mamelodi Sundowns have given an update on several of their players who are loaned to different clubs in the ABSA Premiership including Warriors striker Cuthbert Malajila.
Malajila who is on loan at Bidvest Wits is set to return back to Pretoria.
In a statement on Malajila, Sundowns said Bidvest have not made the loan signings of Cuthbert Malajila & Mogakolodi Ngele permanent as the season finale come close.
“The duo (Cuthbert Malajila & Mogakolodi Ngele) currently with Bidvest Wits will have no choice but to report back to Chloorkop after the last league match. Coach Gavin Hunt has not exercised the option to keep the two players on a permanent deal, as they seem not to be in his plans for the following season.” Said the statement on their official Sundowns website.
The duo is currently on-loan to table-topping Bidvest until the end of the campaign.
Bidvest have the option to make all the deals permanent,
Malajila joined Bidvest on a season-long loan from Sundowns in August as part of a deal that saw Sibusisio Vilikazi go the other way. He had a fair season at the club under coach Gavin Hunt, netting 4 goals in his 25 appearances for the club.
However, Bidvest did not take up the option to make Malajila’s move to the club permanent as the season draws to an end.
