Zimbabwe International Khama Billiat has spoken about his club’s recent dip in form saying it is everyone to blame not individuals.
This comes after widespread critisism on the player with fans suggesting that him and other big stars have failed to replicate the form that made them African Champions.
Sundowns have failed to pick up a win in their last 5 Premiership matches.
Speaking to KickOff.com, Billiat assured that the team will rise again as everyone is capable.
“Everyone [in the team] is important because anyone can score goals anytime,” said Billiat.
“It’s not about anyone else, it will be selfish of someone thinking of himself when the club is not doing well,” he added.
Sundowns have also been eliminated from the Nedbank Cup following a 1 nil loss at the hands of Golden Arrows.
Billiat also admitted that there is always pressure for results at Sundowns and the fans who continually rally behind the team always come in handy.
Billiat was in and out of the team with injuries, too, and Dolly packed his bags and headed for France. Mosimane admitted recently that Tau’s obvious inexperience, Dolly’s departure and injuries to both Castro and Billiat meant their front line lacked potency.
Sundowns will need to pick themselves up when they host SuperSport United in the Tshwane Derby at Loftus Versfeld on Thursday.
