A Thabani Kamusoko goal in the first hald gave Tanzanian side Young Africans a narrow 1-0 Total CAF Confederations Cup 1st leg win over MC Alger.

Fellow Zimbabwean, Donald Ngoma came off the bench but could not add to the scoreline while former FC Platinum forward Obrey Chirwa came quite close by striking the bar  in the second half.

The result gives the Tanzanian side the slight edge ahead of the second tie in Algeria. If Yanga manage to win the tie they will proceed to the Group Stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
