The winless streak continues to roll on as Tendai Ndoro’s Orlando Pirates fell to Free State Stars at Goble Park 3-2. That’s now 13 straight matches without picking up a win.
Stars started the game off by scoring in literally the third minute of the game with a powerful goal from Moeketsi Sekola.
Free State Stars doubled the lead in the 14th minute by a goal from Paulus Masehe
Finally, Thela Ngobeni got the ball past his own keeper to get the Pirates on the board and cut the lead in half. But Mohammed Anas was quick to respond and reinstate the two-goal lead for the Stars.
On the stroke of halftime Tendai Ndoro made it 3-2 from the spot kick.
The second half produced no goals with Stars mantaining their lead, which they would carry to the end of the game.
