Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League side Harare City have announced the signing of two strikers, Marlvin Gaki and Pritchard Mpelele.
Both players have impressed during pre-season and are highly regarded youngsters who have been knocking on the national team doors.
The two players featured in Callisto Pasuwa’s Young Warriors side that qualified for the All Africa games.
Mpelele was signed from Hwange while skillful Gaki was plying his trade at Triangle FC.
The Sunshine City boys, who have made wholesome changes to the side, including the coach, have already signed Protasho Kabwe from ZPC Kariba and former Mutare City Rovers defender Munyaradzi Sako.
The team will be coached by Mkuphali Masuku who has since taken over from Moses Chunga.
In an interview with Newsday, Harare City Secretary General Matthew Marara confirmed the signings and hopes the players will add value.
“We have signed those four to add on to what we believe is an already good and balanced side. We believe they can add value to the team,” he said.
