Khama Billiat says Mamelodi Sundowns are full aware of how important the CAF Super Cup final is ahead of their clash with Confederation Cup champions TP Mazembe at Atteridgeville’s Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday
Sundowns earned their spot when they won the CAF Champions League Cup, and will be looking to win the Cup for the first time. TP Mazembe on the other hand have won the Cup twice and will be keen to add to their tally.
Speaking ahead the game Billiat said, “This is going to be a big game. Nothing can be bigger, at least at continental level’.
“Games like this are the only way you can measure how big or good you are.”Asked about the pressure, Billiat for playing such a match, the Zimbabwean had this to say:
“Pressure is part of our life. Games like this build character, and ideally every game we play should be at this level and intensity. That way we all grow and the game gets bigger and better as we get used to such an environment.”
As holders of the more important Champions League, Sundowns handed home advantage
