Former FC Platinum midfielder Thabani Kamusoko scored and registered an assist as Tanzanian side Yanga hammered Ngaya de Mbe of Comoros 5-1 in the CAF Champions League.

Another former FC Platinum player,Zambian international Obrey Chirwa was also on the score sheet in the big win away from home.

Fellow Zimbabwean Donald Ngoma missed the encounter due to an injury.

Yanga will now be looking to finish of Ngaya at home in the return leg in  Dar es Salaam  next weekend.

Yanga will meet the winner between Zambia’s Zanaco and APR of Rwanda in the next stage of the preliminary round of the the competition.

The two sides played out a goalless draw at the weekend.
