Manchester United lost 2-1 against Hull City last night in the EFL Cup semi final but Jose Mourinho refused to acknowledge defeat.
Mourinho would not acknowledge Hull’s opening goal, a Tom Huddlestone penalty awarded by referee Jon Moss for a Marcos Rojo shirt-tug on Harry Maguire.
Paul Pogba was able to equalize but Niasse scored to mantain Hull lead to the end.
We didn’t lose, it was 1-1. I only saw two goals. I saw a Pogba goal and their goal, a fantastic goal.
‘It was 1-1, we are still unbeaten. I think 18 matches unbeaten is amazing.
Despite the loss Man Utd progressed to the final on 3-2 aggregate win, they will face Southampton in the final at Wembley
