French League 1 side, Stade Rennais, are tracking Warriors and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Khama Billiart, according to reports.
Stade Rennais, who currently sit on 8th position on the French league table, have reportedly shown interest in the versatile Zimbabwean attacker, whose contract with Mamelodi Sundowns expires in June next year.
Billiart’s campaign with Zimbabwe at AFCON 2017 ended in disappointment with a 4-2 loss to Tunisia yesterday.
The 26 year old inspired the Warriors to their third AFCON qualification in 2017 and went on to show his undoubted brilliance at the tournament in the opener against Algeria but failed to show the same quality against Algeria and Tunisia.
Reports say Jean-Luc Buisine, responsible for recruitment, has checked into the profile of Billiart, who is also winner of the African Champions League in 2016 with Sundowns.
Stade Rennai, who have already secured the services of Algerian goalkeeper Raïs M’Bolhi, are also reportedly tracking 24 year old DR Congo and Al-Ahli winger Firmin Mubele.
