Warriors skipper Willard Katsande says they have no special plans for Riyad Mahrez but are rather focused on Algeria as a team.
Zimbabwe kick off their campaign against Algeria at the at the Stade de Franceville Stadium in Gabon.
The reigning African Player of the Year is expected to be a key figure for the Desert Foxes at AFCON 2017 together with his Leicester team mate Silimani.
However Katsande says they would be no distracted by individuals names. ‘Of course I know him (Mahrez) as we watch the EPL but at the end of the day he is an individual who is part of the team and the team needs to thrive on team effort said Katsande at the pre match conference
‘We are preparing against Algeria not an individual .Playing the best players in Africa and the world will be a motivation added Katsande.
