Chelsea made it 11 wins in a row when they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in an early kick off this afternoon. Diego Costa struck the all important goal heading in just before the half  time break.

It was Costa’s 12th goal of the season as the Antonio Conte’s opened a nine point gap at the top ahead of other Week 17 EPL matches. The 11 match winning streak matches the club record of consecutive wins.

In other matches Middlesbrough put three past Swansea City while champions Leicester came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Stoke City.
