Zimbabwean International Khama Billiat who has endured a somewhat goal scoring drought has said that he is not concerned about it.
Billiat has been the most influential player in Sundowns over the last seasons and has made great contributions in leading the team to CAF Champions League trophy.
So far in the season the player has managed just 1 goal in all competitions in his last 9 matches.
Speaking to KickOff.com Billiat says he is unfazed by the goal drought but is focusing on team work with his teammates.
“No, it’s not a concern [for me], because I’m trying to play my best football to help the team,” said Billiat.
“I’m not trying to think about myself, or put myself under pressure by trying to repeat what happened last season.
“I’m just trying to be strong mentally, and not put myself under more pressure. If the goals are to come then they will, like they did last season.”, He added.
Last season Billiat netted 14 goals and provided 20 assists in all competitions.
The speedy winder is expected to play a major role for his team’s ABSA premiership clash with Kaizer Chiefs.
