Zimbabwe’s opponent at AFCON 2017 Senegal were given a rude awakening by neighbours South Africa when they werebeaten 2-1 in a highly explosive World Cup qualifier played in Polokwane.
South Africa scored their goals through Hlatshwayo from the penalty spot and Thulani Serero.
The Senegalese put up a trilling late attack in search of goals but could only manage one from Ndoye.
South Africa now lead group B with 4 points after the win.
