Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa and his technical team are set to announce the Warriors squad for international friendlies against Zambia and Tanzania today.
ZIFA has secured a friendly against Zambia with the match set for the National Sports Stadium this weekend.
In addition the Warriors will play Tanzania on the weekend 12-13 November. Both matches will be used by Pasuwa to prepare for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) set for Gabon in January.
With only a couple of months left till the tournament starts Pasuwa is likely to choose the squad his is most likely to go with to Gabon for the two friendlies.
The bulk of the squad is expected to be players that played during the qualifiers with a few additions expected .Burnley defender Tendayi Darikwa is likely to be named in Pasuwa’s squad after reportedly expressing interest to finally play for the Warriors.
