CAPS United produced at stunning comeback to draw 3-3 with Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium this afternoon.
Dynamos looked to have clinched a big win over their bitter rivals with a 3-0 lead but three late goals secured CAPS United a massive point that keeps them on top of the table.
Rodreck Mutuma gave Dynamos the lead when he tapped in after Jorum Muchambo had parried Brett Amidu’s shot into his path.
CAPS United took some time to get into the match only really threatening towards the end of the first half as Dynamos dominated.
In the 61st minute Amidu was again at the thick of things for Dynamos when he set up Masimba Mambare to score the second.
With CAPS United deploying numbers forward the defence was left exposed and in the 74th minute Tawanda Macheka took advantage of a mistake between Makatuka and Jorum Muchambo.
At that stage Dynamos looked fully in control however the drama was to unfold late into the game.
In the 86th minute Dennis Dauda scored from a header after Dominic Chungwa’s effort had come off the post.
Three minutes later Kambanje made it 3-2 to set up a grand finish.With CAPS United having the momentum Dauda grabbed his second in added time to complete a sensational comeback for the Green Machine.
At Barbourfields Stadium Highlanders secured a 3-1 win over Bulawayo City.Gabriel Nyoni opened the scoring for Bosso with a header before Simon Munawa doubled the lead in the 39th minute.
Bulawayo City pulled one back through a Xolisani Moyo penalty .However King Nadolo wrapped up the win with the third in added time.
