Mamelodi Sundowns gave themselves a big advantage in the CAF Champions League final when they beat Zamalek 3-0 in Pretoria in the first leg this afternoon.
Sundowns started well creating early chances and Anthony Laffor scored the opener after being set up by Hlompho Kekana in the 31st minute.
With five minutes to the halftime break Langerman scored the second with a speculative shot that beat Zamalek keeper Ahmed El-Shennawy.
Percy Tau scored the third goal to put Sundown firmly in control just after halftime. Khama Billiat did not finish the match as he made way for Teko Modise in the 65th minute of the game.
The result leaves Sundowns heading into the second leg with a three goal cushion while Zamalek have all to do if there are to get back into the tie.
