Log leaders FC Platinum and second placed CAPS United will continue with the title race as action resumes in the Castle Lager Premiership this afternoon with five matches around the country.
The two side are only separated by a single point with FC Platinum on top with 47 points. Norman Mapeza’s side are away to league strugglers Border Strikers and Dulivhadzimu while CAPS United seem to have the tougher assignment when they face ZPC Kariba.
ZPC Kariba have one of the best records at home this season and have only lost once at Nyamhunga Stadium.
CAPS United players returned to training this week with the club executive giving assurances that the impasse at the weekend had been resolved.
The Green Machine are boosted by the availability of veteran striker Leonard Tsipa while Dominic Chungwa and Archford Gutu are all available for selection.
In other matches Dynamos face a Tsholotsho side fresh from knocking out CAPS United from the Chibuku Super Cup. The game may be the last for Lloyd Mutasa with Dynamos lining up replacements already.
