Zimbabwean international Matthew Rusike scored and registered an assist for Swedish side Helsingborg as they hammered Gnosjö 4-0 in a domestic cup competition last night.
Rusike added the fourth goal for Helsingborg in the 72nd minute of the game as they advanced in the Svenska Cup. It was a welcome win for Helsingborg who have not been doing well in league and currently sit in 14th place on the 16 team log table after 19 games.
The goal was Rusike’s second goal of the season.
Another Swedish side Djurgården who have former Harare City forward Tinotenda Kadewere on their books progressed with a 5-1 win over Smedby. Kadewere started and played a full game.
