Chicken Inn head coach Rahman Gumbo and club secretary Tavengwa Hara have been summoned by the PSL for breaching of the League Rules and Regulations.
Chicken Inn striker Obadiah Tarumbwa has also been summoned. Gumbo and Hara allegedly threatened match officials after a league match against FC Platinum played at White City stadium in July.
According to the PSL, Mr Thomas Masaa the referee of the match reported that:
- After the final whistle, MR Rahman Gumbo the Chicken Inn coach claimed that the referee was paid by FC Platinum.
- (1) Mr Tavengwa Hara said he is pay master and he said he was not going to pay us the match fee to show his anger which he did.
(11) He further said that, that was my last game of the season as he has more powers to do so as he sits in the ZIFA board. He used unprintable words which I cannot repeat.
- Tarumbwa Obediah , a Chicken Inn player, said he will beat me up as he fears no one to show that he was not happy with my officiating.
